We are Healthy Forest Mitigation Services, your local family owned and operated Forest Mitigation company.

We offer services to help protect and prepare your home from wildfires, wind events and more.

Along with feeling safe while walking through your forest, we want you to enjoy the view and peace of mind knowing that you are wildfire ready. We are here to educate home owners on the hazards of living in an urban interface communities of Colorado and how to prepare your home by way of preventative care in the landscape that surrounds you. 

Our founders and operators are local wildland fire fighters with over 30 years of experience. Our founder and owner operator is a foresters with the knowledge of tree species and the ideal living conditions they need, so she is always willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have about your vegetation.

Be sure to reach out and see what programs or tax breaks are availible to you for your defensible space work! We work with the Colorado State Forest Service and local fire departments to stay in the loop on what is availible to their community members. 

We believe that every property big or small is a crucial part to the safety of us all against the spread of a wildfire or the many devistating tree diseases.
